The popular “Ghetto Twins,” along with the band, “Music Circle,” quickly topped the list as one of the best bands on the Island of Barbados. Their performances were regularly held at the Globe Theater.


     Winston also had the pleasure of performing for royals, such as Princess Margaret, John Mills, and Oliver Reed. On several occasions, he shared the stage with some of the most popular artists of the West Indies, always wanting to broaden his horizons, and give a new direction to his career.   He set out to pursue his musical career in Canada in 1972.

    After moving to Canada, Winston toured Canada extensively with various groups. He settled for a while in Ontario, and

was a member of the group, “W.I. Connection.”  Later, the group, "Tribal Funk" was formed, and Winston exclaimed that the musical adventure was wonderful.
